Strategic alliances for scientific and academic cooperation projects

During a first stage, UAM will adopt a strengthening and consolidating strategy for existing alliances. In this sense, four countries have been identified with whom there is a rich and diverse relationship: France, Spain, the United Kingdom and Germany. For each case, a key institutional map is made for developing links, for example, National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), National Research Agency (ANR), National Institutes of Applied Sciences (INSA), the University of Toulouse, the Sorbonne, etc., in France; the Cervantes Institute, the University of Barcelona, the International of Andalucia, the Autonomous of Madrid, among others, in Spain.

In addition, UAM will establish cooperation relationships with Mexican institutions established in Europe, such as embassies, Mexican cultural institutes, representations of Mexican universities, specifically with National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon (UANL), and University of Guadalajara (UdeG), etc. Likewise, a link will be established with supranational bodies engaged in researching strategic topics for UAM, such as United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the European Union, World Health Organization (WHO), etc.
