The Autonomous Metropolitan University has opened its cooperation and bridging office in Europe with the purpose of finding new partners to establish scientific and academic cooperation in addition to strengthening the existing cooperation with European institutions engaged in higher education, science, innovation and culture.
The activities of this office are focused on the strategic development in the following fields:
- Internationalization of teaching activities.
- Joint research.
- Joint publications.
- Bachelor and post-degree students mobility.
- Lectureships.
- Bilateral symposia and workshops.
- Research networks.
- Integration of international laboratories.
UAM's office is lodged in the facilities of the Federal University of Toulouse Midi-Pyrénées under the cooperation and support of the French-Mexican University Home (MUFRAMEX). The office has implemented a Web portal to facilitate the flow of information regarding the activities of the UAM community in Europe and to participate in the cooperation and mobility of both students and professors.
