MUFRAMEX: FRENCH-MEXICAN UNIVERSITY HOME
UAM considers the French-Mexican University Home (MUFRAMEX) a strategic partner aimed to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation with French Higher Education Institutions (HEI), to disseminate scientific production of universities and to contribute in the internationalization process of Mexican HEI.
Likewise, UAM acknowledges the strategic geographical location of MUFRAMEX since Toulouse is one of the most important cities in France and the second university city. The Toulouse region is a world class center of excellence and competitiveness regarding innovation and research for health studies, the agro-food industry, Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) and aeronautics.
The main French research bodies are located in Toulouse, such as the National Scientific Research Center (by its French acronym CNRS), the National institute for Agricultural Research (by its French acronym INRA), the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (by its French acronym INSERM), the Development and Research Institute (by its French acronym IRD), the National Institute of Applied Sciences (by its French acronym INSA), the National Office for Aerospace Studies and Research (by its French acronym ONERA) and the National Center of Space Studies (by its French acronym CNES).
